DRONES at Marymoor

Drones (quadcopter, etc.) are welcome at the Marymoor RC field.  However, pilots must be AMA full members and members of the Marymoor RC Club. Drone pilots must pass the standard MaR/C proficiency test (as a fixed-wing, line of site aircraft during the test), before they can fly solo. FPV flying requires a qualified spotter at all times, to help coordinate with other pilots flying at the field.

Marymoor Park is a King County park.  The park only allows drone flying at the RC field, and only from one of  the five fenced flying stations while observing all AMA and club rules.

Flying in the parking lot, or in other areas of the park is not permitted.

The RC field is managed by the RC Club in accordance with a Special Use Agreement between the club and the park, in which the club pays the park and in return is required to run a safe operation.
