NEW MEMBERS

We invite you to join the Marymoor Radio Control (MAR/C) Club, enjoy flying at the field and participate in Club activities.

MAR/C members must hold a current Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) Open membership, AMA Junior/Youth membership or an AMA Trial membership. AMA Park Pilot membership does not qualify for MAR/C membership. You may join the AMA on line at the AMA website or by applying at a local hobby shop (see Links tab).  You may join the Club after joining the AMA.

Annual Club dues is $40 for adults and is free for Junior/Youth (under age of 19 on July 1st of the membership year). MAR/C membership will be issued for one (1) calendar year starting January 1st thru December 31st. Starting September 15th, new applicant’s dues apply to both the current membership year and to the following membership year (Anyone who was not a member in the previous year is considered as a new member). MAR/C membership will be limited to the same time period of the AMA membership and will be less than one year in some instances (primarily applies to Trial memberships). If you have a Trial membership, contact the Membership Coordinator before applying for MAR/C membership.

New members are required to demonstrate flight proficiency prior to full (authorized to fly solo) MAR/C membership. See the Flight Proficiency tab.

REGISTRATION

Applicants are encouraged to use online registration below. However, a paper membership form may be used. Download MAR/C Membership Form, print it out, follow the instructions, and send it to the Membership Coordinator (address is at the bottom of the form). All applicants must include a copy of their AMA Card.

ONLINE REGISTRATION

Click on the Register button below. Provide the requested information and then click on Create New Account. You will receive an email containing a link to activate your account; click on the link and follow the instructions. You will now see a new ACTIVATE MEMBERSHIP tab on the left side of the website home page. Click on this tab to pay for your membership. The preferred method of payment is to use PayPal. Although not required, you may create a PayPal account. Alternately, you may mail a check to the Membership Coordinator. When the payment process is complete, the ACTIVATE MEMBERSHIP tab will no longer appear.

RENEW CURRENT MEMBERSHIP

Beginning on September 15 of each year, current members will see the RENEW MEMBERSHIP tab when signed in. If you are not signed in, click on the Sign In button below. Next, click on the RENEW MEMBERSHIP tab to renew your membership. The preferred method of payment is to use PayPal. Although not required, you may create a PayPal account. Alternately, you may mail a check to the Membership Coordinator. When the payment process is complete, the RENEW MEMBERSHIP tab will no longer appear.

REACTIVATE EXPIRED MEMBERSHIP

If you let your membership expire, you can reactivate it by paying current year's dues. Your website account is retained, so you do not have to reenter your personal information. If you are not signed in, click on the Sign In button below. Next, click on the ACTIVATE MEMBERSHIP tab to renew your membership. The preferred method of payment is to use PayPal. Although not required, you may create a PayPal account. Alternately, you may mail a check to the Membership Coordinator. When the payment process is complete, the ACTIVATE MEMBERSHIP tab will no longer appear.
