Theft at 60 Acres
The Redmond Police suggested I post a note on the local R/C clubs' boards about the theft of my transmitter and airplane this afternoon at 60 Acres South.
While three of us were out practicing with our pylon racers at 60 Acres South today, my JR 12X transmitter, Voodoo Pylon racer and a Hyperion charger were stolen from my van. The Voodoo was orange with black leading edges on the wing and stab. Here is a link to the product page on SoaringUSA for the Voodoo for your reference:

I am really shocked that something like this would happen at 60 Acres, a place that, for years, we've all seen as a safe little place to enjoy our hobby. It seems those days are over. We were no more than around 60 feet from the cars at any time. I filed a police report on the scene. If you hear or see anything that might lead to the recovery of this equipment, please let me know. You may also want to warn your membership that, according the the Redmond Police, thefts in the parks is on the rise, so locking your car, even when you're just 50 feet away is a good idea.
Thanks,
